Andrew Beatty is an LPL Financial employee who, in his role as Vice President of Research, Outsourced Chief Investment Officer Consulting, serves as Chief Investment Officer to ProEast Asset Management. In this capacity, Andrew provides economic and market insights, investment research, and extensive industry experience to support the development and ongoing oversight of ProEast Asset Management’s investment philosophy and strategies.
Working closely with the firm’s advisors, Andrew helps structure multi-asset investment strategies designed to align with clients’ financial objectives, time horizons, and risk tolerances. He leads ProEast’s monthly Investment Committee meetings, providing research, market perspective, portfolio analysis, and professional guidance to support the firm’s investment decision-making process.
Andrew and his team conduct in-depth investment research, monitor economic and market trends, evaluate investment managers and strategies, and assess evolving risk factors across a variety of market environments. This ongoing research and oversight help ProEast maintain a disciplined, research-driven approach to portfolio construction and investment management.
Before joining LPL Financial’s OCIO Services group, Andrew served as a Senior Investment Analyst with Wells Fargo Investment Institute, where he was responsible for investment strategy and manager selection. He began his career as an institutional investment consultant with two leading global investment consulting firms, Cambridge Associates and Wilshire Associates. In those roles, he advised endowments, foundations, pension plans, and other institutional investors on asset allocation, investment strategy, manager selection, and portfolio construction.
Andrew is a member of the LPL Research Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation Committee, Investment Manager Committee, and Alternatives Investment Review Committee.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
